Dr Damien Lafferty
Damien Lafferty has the commitment to provide advanced foot surgery to every single patient. His goal is to educate them regarding their foot or ankle problems and begin a treatment program with the highest quality of care.
With more than 25 years of experience as a podiatric surgeon, he has an interest in dealing with cases that may have gone on for an extended time and have not been adequately dealt with. Paediatric disorders, sporting injuries, arthritic conditions and debilitating deformities are some of the conditions which can be rectified with surgery.
Damien Lafferty is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Podiatric Surgeons (ACPS) and the Academy of Minimally Invasive Foot and Ankle Surgery, and is an International Affiliate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS). He has a Bachelor of Science (Podiatry), Master of Science and Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science (Advanced Podiatry), all from Curtin University (WA). Damien Lafferty has been a Lecturer and Clinical Supervisor at The University of Newcastle for more than 15 years and is responsible for supervising podiatric surgery registrars at ACPS. He is also a Member of the Australian Podiatry Association (APodA) and is registered with the Podiatry Board of Australia.
