Dr Haydar Ozcan
Dr Haydar Ozcan is a Specialist Podiatric Foot & Ankle Surgeon with over 20 years of experience in treating and teaching foot and ankle disorders and gait problems. He has completed training in Australia, the USA and the UK, including at Curtin University (WA), Dekalb Medical Centre (USA) and Great Western Hospital (UK). He is one of only three surgeons in Australia who is a fellow of the Academy of Minimally Invasive Foot and Ankle Surgery in the USA. He is an expert in adult and juvenile bunions, hammer toes, deformed feet, flat feet, heel pain and arthritic joints. His minimally invasive and joint preserving techniques are aimed to provide patients with faster recovery, long-term comfort and aesthetically pleasing outcomes.
In his spare time, Dr Ozcan takes part in charity programs for refugees and the underprivileged.
Dr Ozcan has owned and run Sydney Foot Surgery (The Centre for Podiatric Surgery Pty Ltd) since 2010. Its mission is to provide a comfortable, informative, and superior surgical experience for its patients, applying some of the most advanced techniques of modern surgery with a compassionate attitude.
