Joseph Anthony Gracé
I completed my medical training in Sydney at the University of New South Wales, attaining a bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery, with honours, in 1988.
Board certified and registered as a specialist in the medical category of the AustralianHealth Providers Regulation Agency (AHPRA) since 1988. I have been a member of theAustralian Medical Association since 1989, with proof of good standing and of eminent repute.
As a vascular interventionist, I provide regenerative medicine interventions and I have a particular interest in treating venous disorders; predominantly varicose veins, of all severities, affecting the lower limbs. I currently offer a full range of treatment options to my patients at the North Shore Medical Group in Sydney, and have done so since 1996. I was one of two physicians to pass the inauguralexams of the Australasian College of Phlebology to= achieve the Post-graduate Diploma of Phlebology, being awarded fellowship status from 2004.
I was voted in as a member of the board of directors in 2018.
Currently, I am also a PhD candidate researching ‘Physicochemical properties of medical adhesives and the human tissue interaction’ at the Research Laboratory for Dermatology, Phlebology and Fluid Mechanics, with the University of New South Wales, Faculty of Medicine.
